I was given some aluminum USGI magazines from the armorer that were missing baseplates for some reason. I didn't want to throw them away but I didn't want to spend 5 dollars (including shipping) on individual baseplates for whats just a $4 magazine, so I whipped this up. As far as I know, there is not a 3dp AR15 mag baseplate anywhere online for a regular old aluminum magazine because I tried to find one before making this.
I should have made a lip near the front so it couldn't be pushed further into the magwell, but I didnt want to waste any more time on it and it's not really needed.
Two versions, thin and thick. Might need a flat head screw driver. Thin can mostly be installed without tools. The thicker one might need a little bit of persuasion with some needle nose pliers.
